Hi everyone! Today I´m going to talk about the architect Louis Isadore Kahn.     Louis Kahn was born in Estonia on 20th Frebuary of 1901 in the bosom of a humble Jewish family. He and his familiy migrated to the Unitaed States, specifically to Philadelphia. He studied architecture at the University of Philadelphia. There he was formed on the theorical bases of architecture, centered on historicism. His projects are monumental, influenced by Le Corbusier. Khan's buildings focus on material nature and light, neatness and simplicity. The library of  Phillips Exeter Academy, Exeter, EE. UU. 1965- 1972, was one of the renownest work of Louis Khan. Other is the National Assembly of Bangladesh and the First Unitarian Church of Rochester in New York.   I like him because of how he used the light on his work and also because the concept behind the structure that it is not only a building, is a composition of the form that light gives to it.   Goodbye!!
